Backup Players

I do believe that all of you must have ever seen a match between 2 teams, which consists of more than 2 people in each

Football, basketball, etc

In each team, there will be some backup players

As it can be clearly understood, their function is for replacing the main players if there is something happen

These backup players usually takes place in the corner of the field

They will never be brought into the light, unless they take over the position of the main player

Don`t you think it such cruel?

They just sit and watch the game, waiting for their turn if they had one

Moreover, when they finally get the chance to get into the match, do you really think it`s wonderful?

Correct me if I`m wrong

There`s nothing fun in being a replacer

Why? Because you will be compared to the previous player

It`s such a delight if you can play better than the previous one

What if you don`t?

People will never stop comparing

People will never stop thinking highly of the previous player

See?

In work life, sometimes such shit happens even when you`re not expecting

You leave your previous job and you enter a new company

You replace someone there

At first, everything seems alright

Until one day you hear a person say,

"The previous one is better"

And it dramatically happen when you`ve done your best to finish all the tasks and adapting to new circumstance

Now, I`m gonna make it clear

No one, I repeat

NO ONE in this world will be happy with comparison

Especially when you already tried your best and get nothing in return except those comparisons

We all trained to compare, not simply value and respect each individual

Finally, this conclusion came up in my mind

Whatever you do, people will always have something to say

Whatever you do, there will always be pro and contra

You can`t dismiss it

Keep in your mind that:

The only thing you need to beat up or compared is YOURSELF

Be the best version of you, let the comparison makes you stronger than ever

Compare yourself now to yourself in last week, month, year, etc

Even when you quit your job and become a part of new company, make sure that you learn something new for your self improvement

Not just for pleasing your boss or coworkers

In the end, no one is responsible for your progress unless yourself

In the end, it`s only about you

In the end, people will see your shine even when surrounded by so many comparisons
